Duty-free allowances

Arrival from non-EU country (air traveler): personal merchandise allowance of €430 per passenger (€150 for children under 15). Alcohol (17+): 1 liter of spirits (>22% ABV) OR 2 liters of fortified wine/sparkling wine, PLUS 4 liters of still wine AND 16 liters of beer. Tobacco (17+): 200 cigarettes OR 100 cigarillos OR 50 cigars OR 250 g smoking tobacco.

Prohibited & restricted goods

Medication & prescription drugs

Personal prescription medication permitted for the duration of the stay (up to 3 months). Must be accompanied by a prescription written in French or English specifying dosage and patient identity. Narcotics/controlled psychotropics require a Schengen/ANSM transport certificate.
