Exempt items (fly outside the quart bag)
Medically necessary liquids and infant nutrition are exempt from the 3.4 oz container cap. Declare them.

Containers must be 3.4 oz (100 ml) or smaller; all containers must fit in 1 clear quart-sized resealable bag; 1 bag per passenger.
Are medications exempt from the liquids limit?
Yes. Medically necessary liquids, gels, and aerosols in reasonable quantities are allowed over 3.4 oz. Declare them to officers before screening.
What size bag do my liquids have to be in?
A clear, resealable bag of about 1 quart / 1 liter (roughly 6 × 9 in or 20 × 20 cm). One per passenger.
